Diagnosis and problem design

This is a systematic way of explaining what to do once you know your problems.

  1. Set Goals
  2. Identify your problems
  3. Diagnose your problems
  4. Design a plan to eliminate the problems
  5. Do what you set out to do

3. Diagnose your problems

Study the problem when you’re relaxed, objective and creative (evenings).

Study each part of the problem and their interconnectivity.

Narrow the problem down and make sure you understand it and its parts to get to the roots.

4. Design a plan to eliminate the problems

List solutions in writing (80% of that you can think of)

Prioritize the list from fast + probable to hard+less probable.

Define timeline, set milestones and design the plan to do fast + probable first.

Remove unnecessary parts of the design and simplify. (Your design and requirements are definitely dumb so spend 2/3 of your time on this and 80% of your design is wrong and mistake so minimize it)

Write down on what will happen, when, and who will do it. (This should be day+who detail)

5. Do what you set out to do

Follow through with good work habits and self-discipline.

Prioritize fast + probable and avoid slow + less probable. If it’s not working, if its not working move to step 3.

Ideally have someone watch over your goals and review and reflect on them by yourself.

Revisit your plan and goals often so you don’t lose sight of them.

If it’s working, follow through and optimize and if its not working move to step 3.
